How to beat Jet lag
It’s a battle, jet lag can ruin a holiday or business trip. So here are some tips on how to manage it best. You can alleviate some of jet lag’s nasty symptoms by following the tips below.
When traveling East:
- Book a flight that arrives early in the morning at your destination
- Eat a healthy dinner before taking the flight
- Avoid on-flight food and drink
- Sleep as much as you can!
- When you arrive eat a healthy and filling breakfast
- Exercise, take a short nap in the afternoon
- Try and stay up until 9.30-10pm
When traveling West
- Try and fly in the afternoon arriving early evening
- Short naps only! So take books and watch those bad films
- Once you arrive eat a healthy dinner
- Bedtime 9.30-10pm
- And surprise surprise when you wake, eat a healthy breakfast. See a pattern !?
