Canada wide. We are located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Status
If
you place an order through our site, you are warranting that you are at
least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding
contracts.
Website Use and Copyright
Silk Concept grants permission to view and print pages including images from this website for personal use only.
Changes to Terms
We,
Silk Concept Inc. reserve the right to update and terminate these terms
and conditions. All changes will be posted on this page and your use of
this site following any such updates/changes will be agreed upon the
new terms and conditions. Therefore we actively encourage you to review
the terms and conditions whenever you use our website.
Prices
All
prices are quoted in Canadian dollars. Sales taxes and shipping fee’s
will be added to your final checkout and will be represented on your
invoice. Orders shipped to address’s outside of Canada can be subject
to import duties. As the consumer you are responsible for any customs,
duties, or brokerage fees that may incur.
If a product is priced unmistakably incorrect we are not obliged to provide the product at the incorrect (lower) price.
We
reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies of prices or availability
of products at any time. These changes can be made to current and
standing orders and in the event of the order being completed and a
charge made to a credit card we will issue a credit to your credit card
in the amount of the incorrect price.
Risk and Ownership
Once
the products have been shipped they are at your own risk, once full
payment (including shipping) has been processed you will have full
ownership of the products.
Consumers Rights
Your
order constitute an offer to buy our product. All orders are subject to
acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending
you an e-mail that confirms that the Product has been processed and
shipped. The contract between us will only be formed when we send you
the Shipping Confirmation.
Refunds
Once an
order has been placed, you the consumer has up to 15 days to return the
order for a full refund. After 15 days and up until 30 days of the date
the order was placed we will refund and provide you with an online
store credit.
Shipping costs incurred for the returned product will
be at the purchaser’s expense. If the product is not in its original
condition or packaging we have the right to refuse a refund.
Notice and Electronic Communications
Silk
Concept may deliver notice to you by means of email or general notice
on the website. Upon visiting www.silkconcept.com or sending an email
to an address which includes @silkconcept.com you are communicating
with us electronically and consenting to receiving communications from

Concept and affiliates permissible by applicable law disclaim all
warranties and are not liable for any special or consequential damages
that result from the use of or inability to use the materials on this
site. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of
liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. You expressly agree that
your use of this site is at your own risk.
Events outside of our Control
We,
Silk Concept will not be liable or held responsible for any delay or
failure to perform our obligation under contract due to events outside
of our reasonable control. (Force Majeure Event)
A Force Majeure Event can include any or all of the below acts, event’s no happenings, or accidents:
(a) Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
(b)
Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of
terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or
preparation for war;
(c) Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
(d) Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
(e) Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; or
(f) The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.
We
will use our reasonable endeavors to bring the Force Majeure Event to a
close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract
may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.
